Coming to Humboldt County via New York
and Los Angeles in 1969, to attend Humboldt State University, his
abiding love and appreciation of the beauty of Northern California
caused him to stay. In Real Estate since 1981, Austin established
California Lifestyles Realty in 1990. His expertise in all areas of
Real Estate, and his management style, has been instrumental in
making California Lifestyles Realty the vital company it is today.
He has served the local association of Realtors in many capacities
over the years, as chairman of Multiple Listing Service, Membership
and Public Relations committees and as a Director of the
Association. He coordinated and instructed in the Real Estate
program at College of the Redwoods for 10 years, and believes
strongly in education for Real Estate professionals. Austin Holds a
GRI designation as well as many other real estate related
achievement certificates. An award-winning author and avid auto
cross driver, Austin's unique outlook on life in Humboldt County has

A native of Humboldt
County, Joyce had a 20 year career in the banking and financial
worlds, before leaving to join her husband, Austin, at California
Lifestyles Realty as property manager and Real Estate agent.
Specializing in first time homebuyers, Joyce enjoys helping people
through the intricate process of finding, financing, and ultimately
closing their Real Estate transaction. A member of the Beau Pre Golf
Club and Willow Creek Golf and Country Club she sports a 16
handicap.

Ludwig specializes in Arcata and it's surrounding areas,
which he considers the cultural heart of the North Coast. He focuses
his attention on individual needs: urban, rural, and land
development. He has 15 years experience in Real Estate and has been
a sales leader with our company. He is currently an instructor at
College of the Redwoods in the Real Estate program. He speaks
Hungarian and German.

Penny
had ten years experience working with Tax and Real Estate attorney's
before receiving her Real Estate license in 1984. Penny relocated to
our area from Glendale, California in 1993, after a distinguished,
nine year, career with Prudential. She specializes in Residential
sales and loves referrals. She is a Charter Member of
Soroptimist-McKinleyville, which was established in 1996. Her
husband, David, who is also a licensed Real Estate professional,
assists Penny, in her Real Estate career. They are the proud owners
of a 1962 Lotus 7A, which they still race in vintage races, through
the Historic Motor Sports Association.

Michael was born and raised in Eureka, and is an active part of
the business community both as a realtor at California Lifestyles
Realty and as a building contractor with his company Arcata
Development Co. With his wife and two children, he is happy and
pleased to live and work in Humboldt County. |

Christine was born and raised in Scotland and came to the U.S.
when she was 18. She has been involved with horticulture for the
past 20 years, owning a nursery specializing in rare perennials and
antique roses and a landscape/gardening business. Her real estate
career grew naturally from roots established in her adopted home of
Humboldt County. Christine's not-so-secret passion is celtic music
which she enjoys and also performs.

Lou was born and raised in Arcata. A proud member of the
Portuguese community and fluent in Portuguese, Lou loves traveling,
especially to the family home on the Island of Flores in the Azores.
He enjoys soccer and football, but his passion is cycling the rugged
mountains of the North Coast.
